Values Friends help children with anxiety and other emotions and parents and teachers love the calm that these toys bring to the home and classroom.
Are you always looking for new kids’ activities that will teach them self-reliance?
Children often find it difficult to verbalize how they feel and may even feel ashamed of their feelings. The Values Friends toys give them comfort and reassurance that these feelings are normal. This is revealed when they open the secret flap over the heart to see the words – Truth, Love and Peace. The toys show that we all have these values inside us.
Meets American and European toy safety standards
The dolls are 24” tall, hand washable and the clothes are removable, except the shoes and hat. We are sure you will love them, but we uphold our own values and offer a full refund if not satisfied.
About The Author & Creator
With a background in promoting values education in primary schools in Scotland, Gloria Prema formed the Values Friends company in 2002 with the publication of the first books, for ages 3-5 and 6-9. The puppet dolls, Poppy and Todd, joined the company shortly after and the books are designed to be used with them, fitting nicely within the heart of the doll, symbolising that the values are within every heart. This creates a feeling of inclusiveness and calm for children who may be feeling a bit anxious.
The dolls have been piloted in schools in Scotland, with testimonials available on this website.
Gloria is an author of books on science and spirituality and a qualified therapist in natural healing and EFT (emotional freedom techniques). Her passion has always been to unify science with healing of the human spirit, body and mind and this lends itself naturally to helping children to live with assurance in this sometimes difficult and changing world.
About The Books
The Values Books help children with emotions of anxiety, depression and exclusion by stimulating feelings of happiness and inclusion. Parents and teachers love the feelings of calm that descend in the classroom or at home when the children read these books or an adult reads them out loud. The books are available in two sizes - 8" x 10", or the Mini Series which is 5" x 6" and which fits inside the doll.
